About us
Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most areas criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices.
About the role
As a Project Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting various innovative initiatives—from regional service delivery planning to coordinating conferences, training events, and communications. Working closely with Associate Directors, you’ll help drive the effective coordination and management of regional service delivery, ensuring our services reach communities where they are needed most.
About you
Legal Aid NSW is looking for a strategic thinker with a strong foundation in project management to lead and support initiatives that drive meaningful change. You will bring a proven ability to manage complex projects from planning through to execution, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and timelines.
Your communication style is adaptable and effective across diverse audiences, allowing you to build strong relationships and foster collaboration across teams and regions.
Success in this role also requires a sharp analytical mindset. You’ll be skilled at interpreting and presenting complex data, transforming it into clear, actionable insights that support evidence-based decision-making.
Whether engaging technical or non-technical stakeholders, you’ll communicate findings with clarity and purpose. Your experience in collaborative problem-solving and proactive stakeholder engagement will be key to aligning diverse needs with strategic objectives and delivering impactful outcomes.
