Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices.

 

About the role

Help us share Legal Aid NSW’s mission with the community by planning, writing and editing great copy for our socials, intranet and other platforms and publications.

 

About you

You are a skilled copywriter who can simplify complex ideas, transforming them into clear, accessible content for diverse audiences. You have exceptional attention to detail and can guide colleagues on tone and style. You can generate innovative and creative ideas to uplift our social media channels, intranet and publications. With a sharp eye for detail, you proof, edit, and optimise content across platforms, collaborating with others.

The essential requirements for this role

You must:

  • be willing to do a Criminal Record Check
  • hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies)

 

Key knowledge and experience

  • Qualifications and/or experience in a relevant field, such as communications and content creation.
  • Previous experience in writing and posting digital content on a range of platforms.
