About us

Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most areas of criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices.

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic team players who are passionate about client service.  As a Grants Officer your day will include answering a variety of enquiries by telephone and written communication whilst determining applications and extension requests for grants of aid within policy, guidelines and delegations to meet client service and Legal Aid NSW standards and benchmarks.

About you

With your exceptional communication skills, you provide consistent and courteous client service. You are well organised and have the ability to prioritise and multitask in a high-volume environment. Your drive and enthusiasm motivates you to deliver excellent client service skills to successfully address complex client issues and needs.

We will use this recruitment to create a talent pool for similar ongoing or temporary vacancies we have over the next 18 months.
