About us 

Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most areas criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices. 

 

About the role 

The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator works within the Learning and Organisational Development (LOD) team to administer the learning management system across Legal Aid NSW. This role supports the delivery of high-quality, reliable and professional learning services, which in turn support the people of Legal Aid NSW to serve our clients. 

 

About you 

As the central point of contact and the subject matter expert for LMS, you will be engaged in delivering excellent learning services that support Legal Aid’s employees. Your knowledge, skillset and judgement ensures that content and data is up to date and accurate. 

 

Your ability to facilitate information session for end users and excellent communicational skills will support the effective use of the LMS for end users.  

 

We may use this recruitment to create a talent pool for similar ongoing or temporary vacancies we have over the next 18 months.

The essential requirements for this role 

You must: 

 

  • Extensive experience and knowledge of Learning Management Systems and learning modules created to comply with SCORM standards.  

  • be willing to do a Criminal Record Check  

  • hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies) 

 

Key knowledge and experience  

  • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems, including learner administration, program management and reporting.  

  • Proficiency in creating and updating intranet content using Sharepoint.  

  • Experience supporting system users, including creating learning support resources and conducting information sessions for individuals and small groups.
