About us
Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most areas criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices.
About the role
This is an exciting time to be joining the Facilities team at Legal Aid!
We have a lot of exciting changes about to take place within the City Central Office of legal Aid including a re- furnishment and re-stacking of departments created to meet the ever-changing ways the Solicitors and Administration team do business with their customers. This role offers scope for working autonomously, being creative and being able to positively impact effective ways to manage space. The role offers intra- state travel and the chance to positively influence how the 28 Legal Aid branch locations, function, look and feel.
About you
You will be a high-level communicator, a great negotiator, with proven experience gained from working in a similar role within a property, building/facilities environment or have experience working in a high-level project role where you have co- ordinated and planned high value planning programs. You have an ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders you have proven leadership skills and understand how to manage a budget.
We may use this recruitment to create a talent pool for similar ongoing or temporary vacancies we have over the next 18 months.

The essential requirements for this role
You must:
- Hold a tertiary qualification in a property related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience
- be willing to do a Criminal Record Check and/or Working with Children Check
- hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies)
