Talent Acquisition Team Leader / Projects Officer

• Clerk Grade 9/10 (salary range $125,693 – $138,510 plus super and annual leave loading)

• Location – Central Sydney (Haymarket) with hybrid/flexible work arrangements

Legal Aid NSW is the largest legal aid agency in Australia, comprising a Central Sydney office and 28 regional offices in metropolitan and regional centres. Legal Aid NSW provides legal advice, information, minor assistance, and legal representation in many areas of law. Legal Aid NSW also provides alternative dispute resolution services, community legal education programs, and publications on legal issues. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices.

Legal Aid NSW is seeking a driven and experienced Team Leader Talent Acquisition or Recruitment Project Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this leadership role, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our talent acquisition function, ensuring we attract and onboard the best talent to support our vital work.

 

 

About the role:

 

Due to internal team movements we have an opportunity within the team until the end of the calendar year. The focus of the role will be to lead process improvement projects in talent acquisition. The types of projects and initiatives you would be working on are;

· End to end process mapping

· Policy/guidelines writing

· Development of training materials

· Reporting dashboards

· Research and strategy development

· Change implementation planning

 

About you:

 

You are a seasoned Talent Acquisition professional possessing excellent communication skills and are highly organised in your approach. You will bring both an operational and strategic focus to the role coupled with a hands-on approach to enhance process improvements. Throughout your career, you have become no stranger to collaborating and building positive relationships through partnering with a range of internal stakeholders, you will always be approachable, transparent and customer focused on your solution delivery.

 

To be successful in this role we're looking for someone with:

· Proven experience leading and motivating a recruitment team.

· In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices and methodologies.

· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Project management and organisational skills.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
