Your role:

 

We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Senior Overseer Electrician to work within our Projects Corp Unit at the Francis Greenway Correctional Complex

 

What you’ll do:

 

Inmate Construction Program (ICP) Corrections, Industry & Capacity is currently seeking a qualified candidate and supervisor for the Senior Overseer Projects Corp role at Francis Greenway Correctional Complex, you must have experience in one of the following trades – Electrical, Data/Communications and security, Mechanical HVAC.

 

As the standout candidate for this role, you will have robust communication skills, a positive attitude, strong work ethics and integrity in line with C I &C core values to train and supervise inmates, quality control / inspection responsibilities and ensuring compliance. You are also required to have sound computer knowledge and be resilient with strong time management skills.

Qualifications Required:

 

  • Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete Certificate III in Correctional Practice in accordance with specified CSNSW timeframes
  • Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle while performing the role.
  • Relevant Trade qualifications in Electrical, Data/Communications and security, Mechanical/HVAC
  • General understanding of capabilities around the use of computers and electronic platforms to access relevant departmental programmes and applications.

 

 

 

Essential Requirements:

 

  • Extensive post trade experience
  • Ability and willingness to work across trades as required.
  • Ability to work away from home at short notice and for long periods of time.
  • Must be willing to undertake relevant training as required (paid by CSNSW)
