Employment type – Temporary (up to 2 years) Full time 35 hours per week

Salary - $120, 859 - $133,183pa, plus super and leave loading (Clerk Grade 9/10)

 

Your role

 

As a high-Risk Offender Applications and Operational Governance Officer, you will provide leadership and representation for Community Corrections in all high-risk offender applications in the Supreme Court.

What you’ll do

 

As part of the Extended Supervision Order Team, you’ll lead initiatives and projects to ensure that the team maintains supervision and service delivery standards to the required level by enhancing governance and quality assurance within the team.

 

 

What we’re looking for

 

Ability to maintain partnerships with key stakeholders involved in High-Risk Offender applications and management.

 

Addressing intricate and sensitive political matters while overseeing initiatives and projects to ensure effective stakeholder engagement and successful project implementation.

 

Deliver prompt advice, critical analysis, and clear communication to key stakeholders concerning application management, emerging trends, and recommendations for improvements or evolving initiatives in other jurisdictions.

 

Manage and oversee critical aspects of high-risk offender applications, including monitoring application progress, reviewing documentation, and negotiating outcomes with key stakeholders.

 

 

 

Essential requirement

 

All applicants will undergo a clearance check by Corrections Intelligence Group (CIG) under Clause 94 & 100 (4) of the Crimes (Administration of Sentences) Regulation 2014’ and may be required to obtain heir NV1 Clearance as a condition of employment.

 

Appointments are subject to reference checks. Some roles may also require the following checks/clearances: National Criminal History Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
