Client Services Officer – Broken Hill

 

  • Location: Broken Hill (and other Local Courts within the Hub)
  • Temporary – Full Time
  • Clerk Grade 1/2, base salary ($75,728 - $82,329 – pro rata), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

 

Your role

 

As a Client Service Officer with Court Services, you will provide a range of clerical and administrative services including but not limited to, responding to customer enquiries, data entry and records management.

 

You will assist with the effective operation of Court rooms, perform administrative services to meet statutory obligations and deliver high quality professional services to clients.

 

Your knowledge and confidence with core office software applications or other technology will see you succeed in this role.

Please note that the Court Officer role involves exposure to graphic content, including images, photographs and discussions relating to violence, sexual assault and/or homicide matters.

 

What you’ll do

 

As part of the Court Services Team, you will liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, provide high quality support to customers on the counter throughout various courts within the hub, telephone and via email, using computer systems to enter data accurately.

  • Forsee the requirements of the judiciary and other key stakeholders in the courtroom environment to provide a timely and effective response
  • Provide a high level of clerical and administrative support to the court and registry
  • Support the effective execution of improved work practices
  • Have the ability to adapt quickly to working in different jurisdictions and teams

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • Candidates must hold a valid Australian Driver’s Licence
  • The successful candidate must be willing to travel to other locations within the hub which will include overnight stays up to a week.
  • A departmental motor vehicle will be provided when available and the appropriate allowances paid for travel.
  • You will have strong communication skills; you are able to take direction and work well within a team.
