What you’ll do
You will be responsible for providing leadership to coordinate the women’s residential parenting program at the Jacaranda Cottages at Emu Plains Correctional Centre. This is a frontline, clerical role that will require daily engagement with inmates. You and your team will be responsible for managing:

Case coordination

Day to day support for the women and children in the program

Working collaboratively with stakeholders such as Justice Health, Community Corrections, non-government and government providers and other rehabilitation/reintegration functions

Develop and manage children’s programs and services to be delivered within a correctional system
-
Ensure full regulatory and compliance alignment throughout all stages of the programs
The Ideal applicant
-
Ability to work closely with women seeking to participate in the programs and provide support at all stages
-
Manage expectations with a diverse number of stakeholders
-
Strong human relations and team building skills
-
Proven ability to manage end-to-end program lifecycle, from planning through execution
-
Tertiary qualifications or extensive relevant experience in a similar setting
-
Security Awareness training as the role is face to face with inmates
-
Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence and work closely with senior stakeholders and executive leaders
