Service Officer Workers Compensation
Location: Goulburn
Employment type: Ongoing full-time role
Salary: $79,032 pa to $86,539 pa, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Your role
You will be part of a high performing specialised Workers Compensation Payroll team processing workers compensation wages across DCJ.
What you’ll do
You will be responsible for a portfolio of Workers Compensation claims and will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure entitlements are processed in accordance with legislative requirements.
You will provide employees with a high level of customer service and advice regarding their claims.

Shared Services and Customer Experience deliver business services for Communities and Justice Divisions which includes Finance and Payroll Services. The Workers Compensation Team is located within Finance Shared Services.
What we’re looking for
In addition to meeting the essential requirements, the successful candidate must demonstrate strong capabilities in:
- Interpretation and application of a range of legislation and internal guidelines and policies relating to workers compensation
- Previous payroll experience (desirable)
- providing employees with a high level of customer service and advice regarding their claims
- Strong organisational skills
- Confident communication skills
- Initiative, with attention to detail
