Location – Junee Correctional Centre
Employment type – Full Time, Ongoing
Salary - $1,110.90 per week + Incidental Allowance, Superannuation and Leave Loading
Your role
In this role you are required to work various start and finish times between Monday to Sunday and, inclusive of Public Holidays when required. You will be responsible for providing a range of transport and logistic services to all Corrective Services NSW and, Corrective Services and Industries clients.
What you’ll do
As a CSI Transport Driver, you must be able to work in a flexible manner and provide safe yet, timely service to your clients. Provide efficient service in accordance with the National Heavy Vehicle Law and CSNSW policy and procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle in the course of performing the role
- HC Heavy Combination Licence or
- HR Heavy Rigid and willingness to upgrade
- Current RMS Driver Printout
- Forklift Licence – desirable, must be willing to undertake training
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate – desirable, must be willing to undertake training
About you
The ideal candidate will be able to prove their skills and ability to:
- Proven Transport Driver Experience
- Experience in safe food handling in line with HACCP Guidelines
- Compliance, experience and sound understanding of a driver’s responsibilities under CoR, HVNL and RMS legislation and guidelines
- Experience in safe operations and work practices with heavy vehicles, freight movement and manual handling (WHS)
- Experience in accurately completing heavy vehicle pre-trip inspection, RMS Work Diary, workplace manifests and customer documentation
- Safe driving history in line with deadlines and schedules
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders and commitment to customer service
- Demonstrate sound time management and computer skills
