Employment Type – Ongoing, Full Time

Salary - $98,059 pa + Incidental Allowance + Superannuation + Leave Loading

 

Your role

 

Corrective Services Industries is currently seeking a qualified candidate and supervisor for the Senior Overseer Laundry role at Mid North Coast Correctional Centre, you must have experience in following trades – Laundry Operations or qualifications which relate.

 

As the standout candidate for this role, you will have robust communication skills, a positive attitude, strong work ethics and integrity in line with CSI core values to train and supervise inmates, quality control / inspection responsibilities and ensuring compliance. You are also required to have sound computer knowledge and be resilient with strong time management skills.

 

What you’ll do

 

As a standout candidate you will have:

  • Extensive post trade experience
  • Willingness to work across varying trades and ability to multitask to achieve operational goals
  • Must be willing to undertake relevant training as required (paid by CSI)

 

The successful candidate will be paid to undertake Primary Training for Certificate III in Correctional Practice

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • Current Certificate III or higher in Laundry Operations or similar.
  • Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete within specified timeframes
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence and preparedness to drive to locations as required
  • General understanding of capabilities around the use of computers and electronic platforms to access relevant departmental programmes and applications
