  • Salary ranging from $106,025 pa to $117,363 pa + super and leave loading
  • Temporary – Full Time – 12 months with a possibility of extension until the end of the Special Inquest

 

 

Your role

 

The Team Leaders role will lead the communication needs of the Special Inquest by collaborating with the Senior Management team to deliver a range of engaging communication initiatives, strategies and products internally and externally.

 

More specifically the role will address technology requirements and be the curator of the website and electronic platforms used to support the State Coroner. This includes delivering high level correspondence, drafting briefings, media releases and public information in relation to the Inquest.

 

The role is primarily onsite at the Coroner’s Court – Lidcombe however hybrid arrangements could be considered.

 

Persons seeking to work at the Coroners Court need to be compassionate and empathetic and have a high level of personal resilience.

 

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Provide high level communications advice and support to the State Coroner, Director, Registrar and the Senior Project Officer, Special Inquest
  • Implement and coordinate education, training and support with regard to the tools and electronic platforms used to support the Special Inquest
  • Resolve complex issues, draft briefings, correspondence and media responses
  • Provide inter agency and external stakeholder liaison, timely advice and progress updates

 

 

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • Knowledge in the NSW Coronial Jurisdiction, or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge
  • Recent experience writing and managing high level advice and communication, including public accessible information
  • Experience in using a variety of technology platforms and implementing education and training on tools and electronic platforms
  • Experience successfully building and managing a network of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain resilience and professionalism in the face of extreme sadness and grief
