About the role
As the Project Officer within the Customer Engagement and Resolutions team in the Resilient Homes Program (RHP), you will be responsible for a range of customer engagement and support activities to support homeowners through the program.

Undertake face to face interactions with disaster impacted community members, including to attend home visits.

Prepare reports and briefs, coordinate resources, maintain project documentation and implement and monitor customer interactions.

Communicate with key internal and external stakeholders and support working groups, committees and consultations.

Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress

Identify opportunities for improving processes to streamline the journey for our stakeholders.
What we’re looking for
High calibre candidates will hold tertiary qualifications and/or relevant knowledge and experience. They will have significant experience in delivering high quality customer service to communities with a trauma-informed approach and coordination in a dynamic and politically sensitive environment.
Strong candidates will have high attention to detail and can work confidently and collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders. They will have autonomy in coordinating and managing work and making decisions on matters under their direct control.
Courage and resilience, integrity and a customer service orientation are critical for this role, as are the abilities to manage priorities, influence and negotiate.
