Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community? We’re seeking a dynamic leader to take on the role of Director of Customer Engagement. In this pivotal position, you will cultivate our efforts to connect with the community and drive the Northern Rivers Adaptation programs forward.
What you’ll do as the Director Customer Engagement:

Engage with purpose: lead the planning and executive of community engagement initiatives that foster resilience in housing, land use and relocation strategies.

Deliver impact: ensure high-quality engagement processes that empower local communities to thrive amidst change.

Policy Innovation: play a key role in formulating and implementing policies that enhance program outcomes and strengthen community resilience.
About You
We are seeking and experienced and dynamic leader with:

Extensive experience in community and stakeholder engagement and complex issues resolution.

A proven track record in program and policy development.

Exceptional stakeholder and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships and connect with diverse communities.

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, foster a collaborative and high performing culture.

About the Agency
The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.
To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government. When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities and other stakeholders.
