Are you ready to lead impactful change in the Northern Rivers region? We’re seeking a Director of Northern Rivers Partnerships Programs and Aboriginal Outcomes to join our leadership team. In this vital role, you will develop and implement strategic plans that promote Aboriginal outcomes, support economic recovery, and build business resilience. 

What you’ll do as the Director NR Partnerships, Programs and Aboriginal Outcomes 

• Drive Strategic Initiatives: Create and deliver targeted programs that facilitate economic growth and recovery. 

• Collaborate for Change: Work closely with government agencies, councils, Aboriginal organisations, and businesses to foster partnerships that lead to job creation, workforce participation, and robust supply chains. 

• Champion Cultural Heritage: Lead efforts to ensure our operations enhance the social and economic development of Aboriginal communities while promoting and protecting Aboriginal culture and heritage. 

About You 

We are seeking and experienced and dynamic leader with: 

• Extensive experience in economic and regional development, Aboriginal engagement and delivery of programs to enhance the economic adaptation, mitigation and resilience of a region.  

• A deep understanding of Aboriginal issues and economic development. 

• Proven experience in partnership building and program delivery that results in meaningful community outcomes 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.

About the Agency  
The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster. 

To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government. When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities and other stakeholders.
