  • Clerk Grade 11/12, Salary relative to experience ($145,378 to $168,130) + super  

 

NSW Reconstruction Authority is seeking an adaptive and resilient leader in housing infrastructure/project management to make a tangible impact on the Northern Rivers and Central West communities. 

 

About the role 

In this role, you will be overseeing property management activities involving post-settlement processes and policies for buyback properties across the Northern Rivers and Central West. 

Your role will be critical in coordinating with the local communities and councils to ensure seamless project execution on housing infrastructure. 

 

  • Manage a team to deliver post-settlement activities of the RA's Resilient Homes Program buyback properties such as drafting condition reports, service disconnection, occupancy arrangements, home relocations and demolitions. 

  • Implement restriction requirements for properties to ensure homes cannot be used for residential purposes in the future. 

  • Monitor and report property stages including developing fit-for-purpose outputs to communicate program updates. 

  • Build team capability on relevant policy obligations, property management expertise and resources to overcome sensitive challenges within local communities over occupancy/property ownership. 

 

 

What we’re looking for 

  • A collaborative approach towards community queries for the Resilient Homes Program and ability to work under a high-pressure and dynamic environment. 

  • Experience in taking ownership of developing procedural frameworks, governance structures, and reporting documentation to contribute to a cohesive and efficient team. 

  • The ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver upon ownership/occupancy home rights. 

  • Hands-on experience on the client-side management of property and housing infrastructure programs or similar projects would be beneficial.
