Onsite Roles – Full time

Employment type – Temporary up to 8 months with a potential to extend.

Clerk Grade 1/2. Salary – $73,522 - $79,931 plus employer’s superannuation and annual leave loading.

 

 

Your role

 

To provide records management services to the clients of DCJ which are compliant with legislative requirements to ensure the flow and confidentiality of business information. Also to balance requests for information, multiple work tasks and competing deadlines in an environment with fluctuating demands.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Provide a range of administrative and support services to facilitate the effective operation of the unit
  • Update and maintain records and databases, ensuring all information is accurate, securely stored and easily accessible.

You'll work as part of a team who work together to fulfil the steady stream of requests from DCJ business divisions to provide imaged and hardcopy records management. You’ll be working in an office/warehouse environment, where your responsibilities will include retrieving records, answering phones/emails, accepting incoming mail/deliveries, and facilitating the despatch of records.

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment and provide clear, professional communication with stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritise competing demands. Ability to be flexible is vital in this role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and handling enquires.

 

This is a physical role within a records/warehouse environment, the role holder is required to safely carry out the following:

  • Frequently bend, lift, kneel, crouch and walk - to move about the warehouse, office and compactus to retrieve and maintain records in compactus/shelving (above the head and low to the ground)
  • Climb stairs and ladders to retrieve boxes - regularly ascend/descend stairs and ladders within the office and warehouse, to retrieve and maintain records in compactus/shelving (above the head and low to the ground)
  • Carry weight, lift and push and pull trolleys – to move records about the warehouse, office and compactus
