Records Officer

 

  • Location –  Liverpool
  • Employment type – Temporary full-time up to 30 June 2026
  • Grade – Clerk Grade 3/4
  • Salary – $82,193 pa - $90,001 pa plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

 

 

Your role

This role will be responsible for providing effective information and records management services to DCJ to ensure flow and confidentiality of business information throughout the organisation.

 

What you’ll do

As part of the Records Management team, you will help manage tasks and contribute to the smooth running of daily operations.

Managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while working effectively with various stakeholders involved in related projects or programs.

 

  • Assist with complex searches and retrieval of records from offsite storage.  
  • Supporting business divisions with records and privacy requests while collaborating effectively across teams to ensure information is managed accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage and process business information in accordance with standards and guidelines to ensure all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible as required.
  • Manage and maintain hard and soft copy records in accordance with standards and guidelines, by creating, storing, retrieving and tracking files to ensure accuracy and security of information.

 

  • Provide a consistently high standard of customer service in relation to records management and information privacy across the organization to ensure efficient and timely response to requests for information and support.

 

  • Develop and maintain positive stakeholder relationships enabling the efficient and effective co-ordination of file retrieval services.

  • Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
  • Confident in handling both digital and paper records
  • Proactive and able to make sound decisions when needed
  • Relevant experience in records or information management
  • A clear communicator who works well with others in a fast-paced environment
