Position: Ongoing, full-time role

Location: Sydney Metro location

Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8, Base Salary Range ($110,266 - $122,058) plus superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

The Corrective Services NSW - Serious Incident Investigation team is seeking a Senior Investigator to join their team at Long Bay Correctional Complex. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting primary assessments and investigations into serious incidents as directed by the Investigations Manager.

Travel around NSW to undertake investigations is required.

Essential Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Government Investigations or higher qualification or relevant experience
  • Current driver licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle in the course of performing the role
  • Capacity and willingness to be on call and travel at short notice to respond to serious incidents and spend periods away from own residence

It serves a key function of the NSW Justice sector by providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community CSNSW also works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported.
