What you’ll do

 

In this role you will assist in undertaking a variety of administrative tasks to support your team in accordance with the directions provided by your manager. Your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

 

  • Prepare documentation and correspondence
  • Complete routine financial transactions
  • Respond to phone calls and emails
  • Greet internal and external stakeholders
  • Diary management
  • Preparation of meeting agendas and minutes
  • General data entry and records management
  • All miscellaneous tasks as required in accordance with the capabilities of the role
  • Managing inmate accounts
  • Monitoring shared inboxes

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • A highly motivated and results driven individual
  • Resilient and able to work in a role with competing priorities
  • Excellent customer service skills    
  • Ability to work in both a team environment and individually when required                                                                                                                                                                  
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Current and valid driving licence and willingness to travel within NSW when required                         
  • Preparedness to work in a Correctional centre environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and your technology skills will help you stand out above the rest
