Salary: $ 70,694 pa - $ 76,857 pa plus super and leave loading (Clerk Grade 1/2)

Your role

 

As an Administrative Assistant, you will perform administrative and reception services to internal and external clients to support the delivery of quality services for the organisation. You will also undertake a range of administrative support services relating to the business, including non-complex client matters, word processing, data entry, preparing correspondence, taking minutes, maintaining electronic and file records and support with meetings and events.

 

 

What you’ll do

 

As part of the team, you will

 

Provide quality administrative services including filing, mail receipt and sorting, maintenance of registers, meeting and event support including booking rooms, diary management, photocopying; and creating and compiling documents to support the effective operation of the team.

Deliver accurate and consistent work within a high volume and changing environment.

Maintain a high level of professionalism when communicating with team members and other stakeholders.

Generate routine correspondence with a view to exchanging factual and accurate information whilst always exercising discretion and judgment and seeking supervisory direction as necessary.

 

 

What we’re looking for

 

Ability to collate information to support the development of accurate documentation and reports, including in relation to assets.

Ability to update records and databases, complying with records management processes to ensure information is accurate and is stored correctly and accessibly.

Applicants with previous administration experience and ability to demonstrate a high level of computer skills including Microsoft Office suite as well as competency in applications such as record management systems is desirable.

The ability to learn and grow in the role will be important in terms of understanding the role.
