Employment type - Ongoing full-time role (35hrs per week)

 

Salary - Clerk Grade 5/6; ($97,027.00 - $107,059) pa plus superannuation + leave loading)

 

 

Your role

As a Senior Finance Officer, you will be responsible for delivering transactional financial, procurement, and administrative services in support of the Operations Support Office, and ensuring compliance with established standards. You will work independently with minimal supervision, consistently providing accurate and high-quality performance across all areas."

 

What you’ll do

Provide high-quality finance, procurement, and administrative services, either individually or as part of a team, in full compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.

Generate key procurement reports, including the Outstanding and Mismatch Reports, and offer support to operational admin staff in resolving discrepancies efficiently and accurately.

Assist the Manager of Finance and Administration and undertake additional tasks as directed by the Business Manager to support team objectives and office priorities.

Prepare and deliver payroll and excess leave reports to managers, ensuring any necessary corrective actions are taken and journals are updated accordingly.

Manage and update administrative and record-keeping systems to ensure accurate and easily accessible storage, meeting information needs and facilitating the timely resolution of inquiries.

Effectively manage competing priorities and demands to consistently meet deadlines and timelines.
