Salary: $101,986.00 pa Incidental Allowance - Superannuation - Annual Leave Loading.

About the role
We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Senior Trade Overseer to lead and manage our Facilities Maintenance unit at South Coast Correctional Centre
As the Senior Trade Overseer, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
· Supervise, coach, train, instruct and work with inmates to develop their work skills
· Manage activities of the team and ensure commercial objectives are achieved
· Be a positive role model and demonstrate personal values which support CSI and social values
· Provide detailed case management reporting through the Work Readiness Program
· Ensure that resources are managed efficiently and effectively
· Provide and maintain a safe working environment for staff, inmates and other stakeholders on site.
· Participate in planning and reviewing quality and continuous improvement processes
· Ensure compliance is adhered to with relevant CSNSW and CSI policies and procedures

Essential requirements
Plumber – Must possess trade qualifications in Plumbing and hold current NSW Fair Trading Plumbing Contractor Licence or Qualified Supervisor Certificate. Certification in TMV and Backflow desirable but not essential.
· Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete within specified timeframes
· Current NSW Drivers Licence and preparedness to drive to locations as required
· Be willing to participate in an on call rotational roster

It serves a key function of the NSW Communities and Justice Sector by providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community CSNSW also works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported.
