Employment type – This is an ongoing opportunity with Department of Communities & Justice within the Murrumbidgee Far West Western NSW District.
Salary – Clerk Grade 3/4 - $82,193 to $90,001 per annum + Superannuation and Annual Leave Loading.
Your role
The Administration Officer provides administrative support services to support the operation of Family Group Conference Team within Murrumbidgee Far West and Western NSW.
The Administration Officer will provide high level support to the team across Murrumbidgee Far West and Western NSW with responsibility for various key administrative functions relating to Family Group Conferencing.
What you’ll do
- Provide a range of administrative and support services, travel arrangements, records management, routine correspondence, financial records, event coordination to support the effective operation of the team/unit
- Collect and compile information and prepare documentation and correspondence in line with quality and organisational requirements, to support information flow and inform decision making
- Coordinate and manage records and databases, complying with administrative systems, processes and policies, to ensure that all information is accurate and stored correctly and securely
What we’re looking for
- Experience in working in a high-pressure team environment delivering services to vulnerable clients
- High level organisation, communication and relationship skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in order to meet strict deadlines
- Competency with a range of relevant technology and software applications
- Ability to interpret policies, standards and procedures and act with a high level of integrity whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
- You will be exposed to highly sensitive matters that at times you may find confronting so the importance for confidentiality and self-care is very important.
- You must also hold a valid driver’s licence.
