  • Salary - Clerk Grade 3/4, Base Salary ($79,032 - $86,539), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

 

Your role

 

A fantastic Administration Officer opportunity has become available in our Legal Operations Strategy, Analytics and Reporting team. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-level administrative support within DCJ Legal Operations. As a key contributor to the team, you will provide administrative and support services to facilitate our analytics and reporting functions. This position allows for professional growth in a dynamic environment, where attention to detail and effective communication are valued.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • As part of the  Strategy, Analytics and Reporting unit in Legal Operations, you will perform a range of administrative duties to support senior management and ensure the effective operation of the unit. You’ll utilise Excel skills to analyse and present various data and information, coordinate reporting requirements, assist in maintaining the division HR organisation chart, and co-ordinate compliance with professional and organisational obligations.

You will also:

  • Assist the team to maintain policies and procedures.
  • Maintain asset and facilities registers.
  • Support resourcing and recruitment processes.
  • Assist with routine and ad hoc tasks.
  • Respond to enquiries and escalate and redirect issues as required.
  • Complete routine financial transactions and purchasing services, ensuring compliance with agency standards and procedures.

This role reports to the Senior Advisor, Business Operations


What we’re looking for

 

  • Experience in providing high-level, accurate, administrative, and clerical support,including excel, data and reporting skills, and excellent client service.
  • Working knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework of legal operations, or the ability to acquire such knowledge within a reasonable period.Sound knowledge and experience of Government policies and procedures including an understanding of Public Finance and Audit Act, or the ability to acquire such knowledge within a reasonable periodIf you want to be part of a forward-thinking, innovative team that is breaking new ground in Legal Operations, we would love to hear from you!
