- 4x full time temporary roles available up to December 2027
- Parramatta or Lismore based roles but other locations in NSW may be considered subject to an approved NSW Reconstruction Authority Office with flexible work options and hybrid arrangements available.
- Clerk Grade 5/6 Salary ($93,295 - $102,941 per annum) plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the Role:
As an Assistant Grants Assessment Officer, you will:
- Undertake a variety of administrative activities to ensure the efficient and compliant management of community grants administered by the Community Recovery Programs Branch.
- Contribute to community recovery programs by supporting a range of projects, programs, and initiatives.
- Compile, analyse, and interpret data to inform performance monitoring and enhance project and program design, implementation, evaluation, and strategy.
- Conduct research, source and collate information, and contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, briefings, and correspondence for senior management.
- Support the effective delivery of community recovery program funding in alignment with policies, strategies, and standards to ensure targeted and impactful grants funding.

About You:
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Knowledge and expertise: A strong understanding of legislative requirements for grants administration in NSW, including the application of the NSW Grants Administration Guide, Public Finance and Audit Act, and Records Management requirements.
- Analytical skills: The ability to compile and interpret data to support decision-making and program development.
- Research and reporting abilities: Proven experience in sourcing, collating, and presenting information in a clear and professional manner.
- Organisational skills: Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
- Collaboration and communication: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and contribute to team goals
Essential requirements:
- Tertiary qualification and/or relevant knowledge and experience.

About the Agency
The NSW Reconstruction Authority (the Authority) is a statutory corporation within Planning, Housing and Infrastructure. The Authority will improve how NSW plans for disasters and help communities to recover from them faster.
To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, NGOs, businesses, and government. When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities, and other stakeholders.
