Chief Executive Officer - NSW Trustee and Guardian

 

  • Based in Paramatta – hybrid and flexible arrangements available.

  • $362,787- $410,992 total remuneration payable

 

Your role

 

As a Statutory Officer appointed by the Government of NSW under the NSW Trustee and Guardian Act 2009, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for setting the vision and strategic direction to ensure the delivery of all statutory accountabilities across the agency.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the NSW Trustee and Guardian agency. This agency is responsible for delivering financial management services for people with disabilities, and providing independent and impartial Executor, Administration and Trustee services across NSW.

 

What you’ll do

 

As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will drive strategic business planning and decision making to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery to clients.

 

You will also:

  • Drive the development and implementation of business plans, policies, and strategies to improve service delivery.
  • Provide expert advice to the Minister, Government, and other government agencies and community groups to drive the successful delivery of strategic outcomes.
  • Deliver risk identification and management activities to ensure appropriate systems and controls are in place.
  • Direct the operation of client and trust accounts and major investment funds, ensuring that all legal, financial, regulatory and accountability obligations are met.
  • Manage resources, programs, processes and staff to ensure the effective allocation of resources, whilst promoting quality outcomes for customers
  • Lead major organisational change by aligning resources, systems, processes, performance and outcomes.
  • Oversee research and analysis into economic and social trends affecting the agency to ensure the services offered meet the current and future needs of the community.

  • Extensive experience in leading a large organisation at an executive level.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quality services in a complex client environment.
  • Commitment to the delivery of effective and efficient service delivery to clients, including the most vulnerable in society, across the state.
