NSW Trustee and Guardian (NSWTG) protects, promotes, and supports the rights, dignity, choices and wishes of the people of NSW. The agency supports the Chief Executive Officer and the Public Guardian to provide customer-centred services to the people of NSW, including some of the state’s most vulnerable. They do this by providing a range of multidisciplinary services including Will-making, trustee, financial management and guardianship services. They write more than 12,000 estate planning documents each year, support over 50,000 customers annually and manage more than $8 billion dollars in customer assets.
In a complex and challenging operating environment, this newly created role on the executive leadership team reflects the strategic priority of developing and supporting highly skilled people who work together to meet the standards their customers deserve. You will be joining a refreshed leadership team delivering on a new strategic plan.
As a senior leader within NSWTG, this role provides strategic people leadership and supports the organisation to create a positive culture, by implementing effective strategies and plans. You will lead and direct human resource strategies, reforms, plans, systems and policies consistent with employment legislation and guidelines provided by the Public Service Commission. This encompasses workforce solutions across the complete employee lifecycle including workforce planning, employee relations, industrial relations, learning and development, organisational design and change management, talent management and succession planning.
We are seeking an experienced executive with a record of driving culture and lifting capability to align services delivery with strategy. Ideally you will have experience in large, complex human services organisations, and experience in the NSW public sector is not essential but would be valued.
