Your role
As the Executive Director Portfolio Delivery for Homes NSW, you will be at the forefront of leading and delivering diverse projects, ranging from low to high-density residential developments. You will oversee all project delivery while working closely with the development origination team to ensure seamless end to end project execution. Additionally, you will spearhead the delivery of land subdivisions and the construction of housing within these communities.
What you’ll do
As the Executive Director Portfolio Delivery, you will be responsible for providing leadership and vision to shape and deliver projects for the future, you will also;
- Lead the project management and delivery of the social and affordable housing asset portfolio in a way that achieves high quality, high value and fit for purpose outcomes for Homes NSW.
- Provide leadership and directional guidance of a team that is capable of building a large, successful portfolio delivery program.
- Identify expectations, performance standards and measurement that enable the program to report on the progress and evaluate its effectiveness.
- Identify, monitor, report and mitigate strategic risks and issues relating to the program.
- Deliver organisational transformation and change to support program implementation and build effective stakeholder relationships to ensure work is delivered effectively.
- Ensure the development and implementation of a regular governance and reporting framework to drive performance and continuous improvement in the supply and management of assets
- Establish and manage processes to deliver best practice outcomes in the design, planning and delivery phases of social housing.

What we’re looking for
- Qualifications in Property Development, Construction Management or similar discipline and demonstrated relevant professional competency and experience.
- Extensive experience at an Executive level in a complex organisation with a large-scale residential project implementation program or business.
- Proven success in delivering low, medium and high-density development projects, particularly within New South Wales.
- Experience in executing complex service delivery models and organisational transformation.
- Extensive experience in budget and risk management principles.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build influential relationships.
- Experience in establishing and leading a high-performing specialised team.
