Pipeline Solutions Architect – Talent Pool

 

  • We are actively building a talent pool of qualified candidates for opportunities within the Department in the next 18 months
  • Location – Parramatta
  • Clerk grade 11/12. Salary – $145,378 - $168,130 plus employer’s superannuation and annual leave loading.

 

Your role

 

Our Pipeline Solutions Architects are at the forefront of innovation, translating business requirements into cutting-edge systems. Your expertise will be pivotal in transitioning our Pipeline initiatives from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with our enterprise architectural plan.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Capture and evaluate solution architecture and design requirements and determine fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Work with vendors to analyse various solution options and document best-fit solutions.
  • Work with various stakeholders to define architecture attributes and compare market solution options so that customers can choose a solution that aligns well with their chosen attributes.
  • Define integration points for information exchange to enhance user experience.
  • Create solution architecture and design artefacts traceable to both functional and non-functional requirements and present to the architecture board seeking approval.
  • Provide inputs for the security team to validate the solution to meet DCJ Security guidelines.
  • Provide technical thought leadership to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage relationships across business lines, multiple stakeholders, time spent on projects with competing priorities.

 

 

What we’re looking for

 

Specific Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Solution Architect with broad knowledge and insight across Infrastructure, Applications, Cloud, Networking, Security and Information management.
  • Good understanding of hybrid deployment across Cloud (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) and On-Prem
  • Good business acumen, workshop facilitation skills with cost estimation experience
  • Experience with market research for technology solutions, participation in RfX activity
  • Expert level communication and documentation skills for preparing architecture and solution design artefacts, options analysis and implementation Impact assessments
  • Experience in design and integration (middleware) across heterogeneous technical landscape using Mulesoft or other platforms
  • Experience in working with databases SQL, Oracle and Cloud instances – DBaaS.

 

Preferred Experience

 

  • Preferred to have technology certifications like Azure/AWS certs, security certs, TOGAF etc.
  • Preferred to have SAP experience with some exposure to Power BI, Salesforce, Pega or Dynamics.
