Your role

 

The Principal Project Manager heads up project teams to create, execute, track, and assess a range of key projects, ensuring they hit their goals and contribute to the organization’s success.

 

What you’ll do

 

Your role is to:

  • Lead the delivery of various SAP projects and enhancements, spotting interdependencies, and using resources smartly to boost efficiency and hit organizational goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of projects, execution and service transition for a range of projects. This includes crafting project plans, setting up proper governance, managing resources, and meeting reporting requirements to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards, following the Agency’s project management methodology.
  • Create and implement strategies and tools for ongoing project monitoring and evaluation. This covers risk and contingency management, demand planning and execution, quality assurance and service transition to myWorkZone Production Environment, identify and resolve issues and assess overall project progress and effectiveness.
  • Lead and manage resources, including both internal and external staff, to achieve all key project milestones and outcomes.

 

What we’re looking for

 

Beyond the essentials, we’re looking for someone who can:

  • Handle complex and sensitive consultations and negotiations with a variety of stakeholders, keeping to agreed timelines despite their different expectations, viewpoints, and interests.
  • Achieve multiple project goals with limited resources and tight deadlines, identifying project interdependencies and balancing competing demands and priorities.
  • Provide expert advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues, presenting recommendations to support project delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timelines, policy objectives, and other priorities.
  • Oversee research and develop recommendations to support evidence-based project planning and decision-making.
  • Enjoy autonomy in coordinating and managing the project team’s work
