Location: Parramatta
Employment type: Temporary up to December 2026 and a Talent pool will be created to fill future vacancies over the next 18 months
Salary: Clerk Grade 9/10, $125,693 to $138,510 pa, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
This role is an integral part of our team and our vision for transforming our workplaces. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Workplace Transformation, the role is responsible for managing and coordinating the development, implementation and evaluation of complex projects to achieve project outcomes and support the achievement of organisational objectives.

What you’ll do
As part of the Workplace Transformation team, you will work closely with our valued stakeholders to understand and document their unique requirements and investigate creative and new ways to support them to work in an agile workplace, whilst maintaining business operations.
To deliver our projects, you will work collaboratively with our partners at Property & Development NSW, Public Works Advisory, internal and external information technology expertise and other delivery partners. You will work closely with our Project Management Office (PMO) to track and deliver your projects to the expected quality, time, and budget.
In this role you will look for opportunities and apply an innovative approach to problem solving, keeping a focus on evolving risks, and known issues, considering financial, safety and time impacts in recommendations you make for resolution.
You will develop and maintain project plans, including documentation of project scope, objectives, deliverables, key milestones, timelines, schedules, internal and external resources, project dashboards, etc
You will work with your team members to develop reports or communications materials to keep our stakeholders up to date with activity and collate relevant documentation and records.

What we’re looking for
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong capabilities in the:
- Managing and overseeing all aspects of project planning, development, and implementation for a range of projects, including developing project plans, coordinating resources, managing budgets, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting project-related activities, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope in line with established agency project management methodologies.
- Establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are met
- Managing a project team(s), ensuring compliance with governance and quality requirements, to successfully deliver all key project milestones and outcomes
- Undertaking research and formulating recommendations to support evidence-based project planning and decision-making
- Providing advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and supporting project development and delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other project and priorities.
- Deep understanding of the technical aspects of workplace technology including hardware and infrastructure, workplace software and application, network, cyber security, IT service management and emerging workplace technologies.
- Experience in implementing and delivering Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTRs) and other Audio-Visual solutions, network infrastructure, end-user device deployment and other workplace technology applications for office fit-out projects.
- Monitor and evaluate all aspects of workplace technology implementation, including risks, issues and contingency management, benefits realisation, project impact and quality measures, to identify and address issues, assess project progress and effectiveness, and deliver project outcomes
- Develop and drive consistent workplace technology service implementation using technology standards and lessons learnt, partnering with internal and external technologies and service expertise.
- Strong ability to develop and drive new innovative workplace technologies
