Location – Parramatta
Employment type - Temporary full-time for up to 2 years
Salary – Clerk Grade 7/8 $113,574 to $125,720 per annum plus superannuation
Your role
Homes NSW leads work to deliver more social, affordable and key worker housing, end the cycle of homelessness and deliver quality public housing to our 262,000 tenants across NSW.
The Housing Programs and Products Directorate (HPP) within Homes NSW, is responsible to design, manage and implement housing programs and projects across the housing system to grow supply and improve housing outcomes for citizens of NSW with a housing need.
This is done in partnership with all levels of government, non-government stakeholders and communities. As a single division, we are streamlining services to ensure we meet the needs of the people we support, with empathy, efficiency and effectiveness. We are elevating the voice of people with lived experience of social housing, housing services and homelessness.
What you’ll do
Provide program management services across a large-scale strategic program or a range of smaller programs which directly contribute to better outcomes for individuals, families, groups and communities. Your role will include:
- Contributing to the design, implementation and coordination of DCJ programs in line with organisational objectives, which deliver effective business unit outcomes and meet client service delivery needs.
- Undertaking aspects of contracting, tendering and capital works programs including the preparation of budget estimates and performance reporting.
- Liaising with District staff and service delivery partners to ensure programs align with service delivery needs and requirements while achieving desired outcomes.
- Developing a thorough understanding of internal policies, regulations and guidelines on contracting and service procurement to ensure compliance, good practice and fairness for providers and clients.
- Using project management methodologies and processes across DCJ to ensure consistent high quality outcomes.
What we’re looking for
To be successful in any of these positions, the ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in program development and/or program management
- Knowledge of relevant program delivery or sector/community
- Demonstrated project management and analysis skills
- Good presentation and communications skills with the ability to work collaboratively across a range of stakeholders including other Homes NSW and DCJ Divisions, sector partners and providers, and other organisations
