Location: Parramatta (Hybrid Office & Work from Home)
Employment type: Ongoing Full Time
Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8, $110,266 to $122,058 pa plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
Reporting to the Director, the Project Officer, Program and Partnerships, will support and manage executive and team priorities, together with diverse projects, initiatives and activities to enable the delivery of capital programs for our frontline services in Child Protection, Homes NSW, Youth Justice and Community Corrections and maintenance of our Disability Group Homes portfolio. Our Program and Partnerships team are committed to making a difference in the work we do, delivering human centred solutions to create improved environments for our frontline colleagues taking care of our NSW community.
What you’ll do
As part of the Program and Partnerships Team within Infrastructure and Assets, you will take responsibility for gathering information and evidence, completing, executive analysis and preparing reports to demonstrate the performance of our assets and capital programs. This work will be prepared for our team, our Infrastructure & Assets colleagues, and also our Minister Offices, Deputy Secretaries / Executive Leadership Team, consultative committees, finance and Program Control Groups amongst others.
This role will perform secretariat functions for key significant committees and groups and manage governance and compliance across our team.
You will project manage continuous improvement projects and develop and implement efficiency projects to improve the operations of the team.
You will build a culture of storytelling by identify and creating communications and engagement activities/events from the incredible work of our team, to support and promote team deliverables internally, within DCJ Corporate Services, across department and external media/social media.
Some travel across NSW may be required at times to support project deliverables.
What we’re looking for
As the successful candidate, you must demonstrate strong capabilities as per below:
- Your previous experience will have a strong administration/governance and project related focus, you will previously have managed small projects, and community and/or staff engagement activities
- You will be able to demonstrate your skills, experience and creativity in effectively managing stakeholder needs, executive workflow and balancing competing priorities
- You are confident working autonomously and as part of a team, building credible relationships, able to actively listen, understand and adjust your communication style to meet the needs of others
- You can demonstrate your ability to be highly resilient and work well under pressure
- You will be experienced in participating in project governance and working with different levels of management
