About the role

As part of our Strategic Planning and Performance team within the Enterprise Project Management Office you will play a significant role in the implementation of business planning and strategic organisation wide change initiatives.

 

Key responsibilities of this role include (but are not limited to):

  • Support the team in the development and implementation of the organisation strategy and business planning process.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the Authority, coordinate working groups, and manage consultations to support.
  • Provide high level administrative support in the coordination of the business planning cycle including circulation of papers and meeting logistics.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, briefs, presentations and monitoring tools, to ensure accessible and accurate information is available.
  • Maintain the business planning IT systems including support with user management and training.
  • Source, collate, and compile data to track progress against milestones and identify emerging issues.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Thrives in a detail-oriented environment and has a knack for multitasking.
  • Brings excellent communication and coordination skills to the table.
  • Has experience in project management or support, with a strong ability to meet deadlines and support delivery within scope.
  • Is confident in preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and consolidate data-driven insights.
  • Enjoys collaborating with stakeholders and facilitating productive discussions to achieve shared goals.
  • Possesses analytical skills to research, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.

 

About the Agency

The NSW Reconstruction Authority (the Authority) is a statutory corporation within Planning, Housing and Infrastructure. The Authority will improve how NSW plans for disasters and help communities to recover from them faster.

To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, NGOs, businesses, and government. When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities, and other stakeholders.
