Senior Finance Officer, Master Data Administration – NSW Trustee and Guardian
· Ongoing vacancy. 35 hours per week.
· Location: Parramatta. Flexible and hybrid working options available.
· Clerk Grade: 5/6. Base salary $97,027 p.a. to $107,059 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the team
The Financial Performance and Investments division provides a full range of financial services including budgeting, procurement, customer accounts and investment management services.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity that will see you:
· Maintain complete and accurate vendor and customer financial master data records.
· Ensure data integrity and compliance with governance standards, policies, and legislation.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and implement enhancements to master data.
· Support financial operations and fraud detection through effective data management.
· Evaluate data change requests and resolve compliance issues.
· Troubleshoot data issues and respond to reporting requests to support business outcomes.
· Coordinate and manage master data procedures, forms, and documentation (e.g. process diagrams, user guides).
· Design and deliver ad hoc system reports and analysis to identify data inaccuracies.
· Adapt data processes in response to evolving business requirements.
· Provide daily support to Finance and Procurement teams, including responding to queries and collecting feedback.
· Offer advice to internal and external stakeholders on data maintenance matters.
· Analyse data to identify and resolve issues such as missing or inconsistent information.

About you

· Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of financial master data management.
· Experienced in maintaining data accuracy and ensuring compliance with standards.
· Skilled in evaluating data change requests and resolving anomalies.
· Collaborative and confident in engaging with stakeholders across departments.
· Proactive in identifying data issues and contributing to process improvements.
· Capable of producing insightful data analysis and system reporting.
· Comfortable managing documentation and supporting operational teams.
· Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on achieving business outcomes.

Essential requirements
Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience in a relevant discipline or industry, such as finance or data analytics.
