Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $125,693 to $138,510 + super
The NSW Reconstruction Authority is seeking for 3x Senior Finance Officers skilled in providing financial management advice to the agency, ensuring robust accountability and compliance with governance controls.
You will effectively conduct financial and management reporting and analyse financial data to develop recommendations on budget allocation, performance reports and end-to-end financial planning. This is an opportunity to for someone with strong financial acumen and a real passion to make a real difference in an agency assisting in disaster-impacted communities.
We are looking for someone with

Previous experience in a similar role providing strategic, financial advice to key executives.

Ability to work with diverse set of stakeholders including NSW Treasury and key divisional leads across the organisation

Knowledge of public sector financial management practices

Strong project management skills to lead advisory services, financial analysis and build budget capability across the business.

Strong financial literacy and communication skills to partner with stakeholders to provide financial recommendations and solutions.

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Economics or Commerce or other relevant field and membership of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand or CPA Australia or IIA Australia, or equivalent relevant experience.

The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.
To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government.
