Employment type: Ongoing Full time

Salary: Clerk Grade 9/10 ($120,859 - $133,183 pa), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

 

Your role

 

The Procurement team’s primary focus is to support and deliver cost effective procurement activities to achieve government objectives.

 

As part of the Procurement team with the Finance and Procurement division, the Senior Governance, Compliance and Audit Administrator manages and coordinates compliance with the provision of procurement services; including procurement planning, development, sourcing, contract, and risk management activities.

 

What you’ll do

 

As part of the Governance, Audit and Reporting team within Finance and Procurement Services, the Senior Governance, Compliance and Audit Administrator’s day to day responsibilities are varied. Responsibilities range from improving procurement activity and performance through monitoring compliance and managing risk, manage and coordinate audits activities, develop a procurement compliance program, to maintaining and extending the Department’s procurement accreditation.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in government procurement environment.
  • Extensive knowledge, experience and understanding of NSW Government Procurement policies and processes.
  • Experience working in a challenging and multifaceted complex organisation.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Strong capability and experience working with varied stakeholders across organisation and government.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
