  • Role based in Parramatta/Sydney, with excellent hybrid working options 

  • Clerk Grade 9/10, Salary relative to experience ($125,693 - $138,510) + super  

 

 

About the role 

As the Senior Governance Partner, you will partner with the business to support the Resilient Homes Program and empower good decision-making at the NSW Reconstruction Authority. You will provide provide critical secretariat services and expert governance support to the program. 

  

You will be responsible for: 

  • Providing secretariat services to governance forums within the Resilient Homes Program including the provision of high-quality meeting papers, minutes and meeting logistics. 

  • Supporting ethical framework initiatives including the Code of Ethics and Conduct, conflicts of interest, gifts and benefits, private interests, secondary employment and senior executive declarations  

  • Partnering with the Resilient Homes Program to manage responses to external complaints, inquiries from integrity agencies, and information access requests under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2019 

  • Collaborating and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement by seeking out and engaging with team members, stakeholders, and external partners to support best practice corporate governance 

  • Preparing correspondence, written reports, publications, and briefs that are informative and aligned with agency requirements, to respond to internal and external requests.

As the successful applicant, you will demonstrate: 

  • Strong secretariat experience and stakeholder engagement skills. 

  • Understanding of relevant statutory requirements and public sector policies and practices relating to governance 

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant knowledge and experience 

  • Ability to adapt and respond quickly in changing situations and willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information whilst maintaining reporting standards
