Clerk Grade: 11/12 Level. Base salary $145,378 p.a. to $ 168,130 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the role
The Senior Manager, Risk and Compliance leads the development, implementation and delivery of comprehensive risk, governance, and compliance frameworks and administering a continuous quality improvement program for the NSW Trustee and Guardian. In this position, you will ensure that the NSW Trustee and Guardian effectively identifies, assesses, manages, and mitigates risks while ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

The Strategy and Governance division provides a wide range of enabling services including risk and compliance, ministerial and external relations and policy services.
As the Senior Manager, Risk and Compliance you will,

Develop, implement and manage the NSW Trustee and Guardian’s risk management plan and strategy.

Promote a culture of effective risk management and compliance.
-
Provide expert strategic advice to the Executive Leadership Team and CEO.

Lead various enterprise and operational risk management and compliance initiatives.

Evaluate the performance and effectiveness of compliance programs.

Implement a successful quality improvement plan.

About you
To be successful in this role,
-
You will have strong understanding of risk management frameworks and operating models.
-
Extensive experience in risk management, governance and compliance.
-
Proven leadership experience in risk, compliance, and governance within complex organisations
-
Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise risk programs and influence senior stakeholders and build a risk culture at all levels of the organisation
-
You’re an effective communicator with strong analytical skills.

Essential requirements
-
Tertiary qualifications in governance and risk management, certified compliance, and risk professional with membership to Risk Management Institute of Australasia (RMIA) and/or equivalent relevant experience with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
