Location: Parramatta (hybrid working)

Employment type: Ongoing Full time

Salary: Clerk Grade 9/10 ($120,859 - $133,183 pa), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

 

Your role

 

The Procurement team’s primary focus is to support and deliver cost effective procurement activities to achieve government objectives.

As part of the Procurement team with the Finance and Procurement division, the Senior Procurement Analyst develops and manages strategic procurement intelligence from a range of data sources and provides insights and reports that support improved decision making, increase procurement savings and/or lead to business improvements.

 

What you’ll do

 

As part of the Governance, Audit and Reporting team within Finance and Procurement Services, the Senior Procurement Analyst develops and manages procurement intelligence from a range of data sources through business analysis, reporting, and performance analysis to inform procurement decisions, support performance improvement, meet legislative and statutory reporting requirements, and to enable stakeholders to meet business needs and expectations.

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities are varied, ranging from ensuring the successful coordination, execution and delivery of quarterly dashboards, developing a benefits realisation framework, maintaining the Procurement team’s budget and forecast, to providing ad-hoc value-add analysis to the Procurement team and key stakeholders.

  • Familiar working with large datasets
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong capability and experience working with varied stakeholders across DCJ and government.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
  • Tertiary qualification relating to procurement or finance and / or relevant knowledge and experience in government procurement.
  • Extensive knowledge, experience and understanding of NSW Government Procurement processes.
  • Experience working in a challenging and multifaceted complex organisation.
