Employment type – Ongoing, Full-Time

Salary – Clerk Grade 9/10, $125,693 - $138,510 per annum, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation

About Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO)

 

The Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) is a statutory body established under the Aboriginal Housing Act 1998 (NSW) to ensure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have access to affordable, quality housing.

The AHO is governed by an all-Aboriginal Board, which provides advice to the Minister for Housing and Homelessness. In addition, the AHO manages and coordinates an annual capital works program, along with developing and implementing financial and resourcing strategies.

 

Your role

 

A fantastic opportunity is available within the Strategic Support team within AHO. The Senior Project Officer will manage, design and implement a range of projects, in line with the directorate’s responsibilities, which improve AHO service delivery and operations and contribute to better outcomes for individuals, families, groups and communities. This role provides continued support for core operations (BAU functions) for Facilities, Fleet and Systems.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Oversee AHO Facilities Management and provide guidance on office leasing space.
  • AHO Vehicle Fleet Management.
  • Oversee AHO device provisioning.
  • Design and provide dashboard style reports for fleet, leases and telephony.
  • Identify and evaluate key business requirements, translate to proposed process and system configuration updates for business justification/approval.
  • Communication and change management of system and process changes.
  • System user training, identify training needs and implement solutions.
  • Review current and proposed system requirements, recommend solutions.
  • Lead and support the communication, user change guidance and assessment of approved system introductions, transitions and changes.
  • Facilitate the provision of and monitor and resolve performance, reliability or disruption of telephone communications and facilities.
  • Manage the provision and usage of video conferencing facilities and other technologies.

 

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience and ability to confidently operate a range of systems and technology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated skills/experience with Fleet Management and/or managing Office leasing.
  • Sound experience with project management.
  • Driver’s licence – successful candidate may be required to travel.
