- Location Parramatta CBD with access to hybrid work arrangements
- Full time temporary role for up to 11 months (35 hours per week)
- Salary from $120,859 to $133,183 pa. + super and annual leave loading

Your role
As the Senior Project Officer, Portfolio Services you will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of tools and techniques to ensure the success of our Information and Digital Services (IDS) Portfolio of projects. Your expertise will directly support the achievement of our organisational objectives through robust governance, strategic planning, and effective stakeholder engagement.
What you’ll do
- Manage and oversee all aspects of IDS portfolio planning, governance and reporting via the IDS Project Management tool, including developing new and existing reports to meet quality standards and within the agreed scope in line with the established project management framework.
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure project, program and portfolio deliverables are met.
- Monitor and evaluate all aspects of portfolio governance and reporting through process automation and the use of appropriate business intelligence tools.
- Manage a project team/s, ensuring compliance with governance and quality requirements, to successfully deliver all key portfolio milestones and outcomes
- Undertake research and formulate recommendations to support evidence-based project planning and decision making
- Provide advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and to support portfolio reports development and delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other organizational priorities.
What we’re looking for
- Demonstrated experience in managing project and portfolio governance, planning, and reporting using project management tools and frameworks.
- Strong research and analytical ability
- Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, negotiation, and issue resolution.
- Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to provide informed advice and support on emerging project issues.
