Salary – $93,295.00 - $102,941.00 pa, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Your role
Department of Communities and Justice is seeking a Senior Service Officer, Mail Service to manage the distribution and security of key physical and digital mail operations of the department’s mailroom.
What you’ll do
- The role assesses, and reviews mail services and makes recommendations on the most suitable services and carriers.
- The role will involve interaction with a variety of internal staff throughout the Department as well as a high focus on relationship management with Australia Post and other contracted service providers and couriers.
- Actively lead initiatives to improve customer service and employee satisfaction.
Department of Communities and Justice Shared Services & Customer Experience unit is a diverse, positive, and collaborative team based in Parramatta at the Parramatta Justice Precinct working in the on-site Mailroom daily Monday to Friday. .
The mail services unit manage the distribution and security of key physical and digital mail operations within a friendly, customer-focused team. The role is responsible for managing staff and initiates staff development in related and appropriate areas.
What we’re looking for
In addition to meeting the essential requirements, the ideal candidate will be experienced in:
Managing a busy mailroom facility in a large enterprise or government context.
The candidate will also be customer-focused maintaining relationships with key customers and experienced in working with providers to ensure the security and prompt distribution of the Department’s mail and parcels.
