Senior Service Officer (Payroll)
Location: Parramatta
Employment type: Ongoing full-time role
Salary: $97,027 pa to $107,059 pa, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
Provide payroll services and expertise is our customer in compliance with award, taxation, legislative and audit requirements to facilitate the achievement of the payroll team’s deadlines and objectives.
What you’ll do
As a Senior Service Officer (Payroll) you will provide assistance to Service Officers in creating a positive customer experience, provide support and advice and guidance on payroll administration, policies and procedures. Lead a team of payroll staff to ensure effective payroll services are delivered in a timely manner.
The Team are customer focused and work together within a culture of mutual respect, honesty and integrity. There is strong high deadlines and high volume collaboration and support for all members of the team,
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in utilizing an SAP payroll system.
- At least two (2) years of payroll experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead a team.
- Proficient in processing and managing payroll for a predominantly shift-based workforce.
- Exceptional attention to detail in examining, validating, and auditing payroll master data.
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, high-volume, and dynamic team environment.
- Confidence to review complex markers identify issues, suggest improvements and support and process efficiencies.
- Sound understanding of, or a willingness to learn, legislative requirements related to employee payments.
- Resilient, accountable, and adaptable, with strong time managment skills and the ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
