  • Clerk grade 5/6. Salary – $97,027 - $107,059 plus employer’s superannuation and annual leave loading

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition Officer to join our HR team.

Your role 

 

This role will be pivotal in sourcing, recruiting, and retaining top talent to meet the organisation's evolving needs.

 

What you’ll do 

 

As a Talent Acquisition Officer, you will be responsible for leading recruitment for government positions and ensuring the seamless execution of our talent acquisition strategy.

 

You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and support them throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

 

As part of this role, you will be responsible in developing and executing recruitment strategies aimed at attracting a diverse pool of highly qualified candidates. By leveraging SuccessFactors, you will track candidates' progress and ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment experience.

 

As part of the hiring process, you will conduct and facilitate interviews and assessments to ensure that candidates meet the requirements of the role. Throughout the journey, you will provide exceptional candidate care, ensuring a positive experience for all involved. Additionally, you will support the onboarding process to ensure new hires transition smoothly into their roles.

 

  

What we’re looking for 

 

  • Strong track record in talent acquisition or recruitment, particularly those with experience in government is desirable but not essential.
  • Proficiency in SuccessFactors recruiting system highly valued but not required.   
  • Strong understanding of legislation, policies, and compliance is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
