- Location – Parramatta
- Employment type: Temporary full-time until 30 June 2025, with potential to extend.
- Grade: Grade 5/6
- Salary: $ 97,027 - $107,059 pa plus employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
In this role, you will undertake day-to-day coordination of remote telephone interpreting customer service provision within Language Services. You will be responsible for a small team of Customer Service Officers, monitoring work distribution and controlling the quality and timeliness of services provided.
What you’ll do
As part of the Language Services division, you will:
- Act as an escalation point for the team to resolve complex enquiries.
- Monitor staff performance and address any issues in a timely manner.
Allocate work and control quality and timeliness of the services provided and escalate any issues in accordance with the agency policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment, participating actively in team meetings and projects, and provide advice on the effective delivery of services.
- Develop sound relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
You will also
Work as part of a multicultural team of customer service officers and translators in the Language Services division that provides translation, transcription and interpreting services to a wide range of customers.
What we’re looking for
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple competing priorities and ability to adapt to changing work environment quickly.
- Experience working in language services industry (e.g. Translation/Interpreting experience preferred).
- Experience in effectively coordinating small teams, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
