- Location – Sydney CBD with flexible working arrangements available
- Employment type – Temporary position (12 Months) – Full time (35 hours)
- Salary – Clerk Grade 11/12, Base Salary $145,378 – $168,130), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
As the Technical Lead for the Digital Case File (DCF) program and other strategic initiatives, you will play a key role in shaping the future of digital customer experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tech leader to drive innovation, influence cutting-edge technologies, and lead impactful, cloud-based projects that enhance business value and customer outcomes.
What you’ll do
The role reports to the Director, Digital Customer Experience. You will be the technical representative for the DCF program and provide technical leadership. Leading the technical team, you will ensure the implementation of the architecture, driving best practices in day-to-day development, and managing the technical execution of the project.
You will also:
- Lead the technical team in implementing the cloud-based solutions for the DCF program, ensuring quality, performance, and scalability of the software.
- Collaborate with the Solution & Enterprise Architects to ensure the team is executing the designed architecture effectively.
- Mentor and guide team members in technical tasks, and drive the adoption of best practices in cloud development, coding standards, and testing.
- Lead the continuous improvement of development processes, including identifying software process improvements.
- Guide the technical delivery team to ensure sufficient development resources are available and to meet projected business demands.
- Contribute to creating and refining the technology roadmap for ongoing and future projects.
- Provide technical leadership on best practice methods of acquiring, moving, storing, and analysing data in a cloud-based infrastructure environment.
- Directly contribute to coding efforts, mentor developers, and ensure the team adheres to coding standards.
- Represent and confidently speak on behalf of strategic initiatives, programs, and projects that deliver new digital experiences within the team and across the department.
- Work as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team focused on creating transformative digital experiences.
What we’re looking for
- Experience with application and software development for large ICT and digital transformation.
- AWS Professional Certification in Solution Architecture & DevOps, with hands on expertise in cloud solutions and DevOps practices.
- Bring strong and hands on experience with Full Stack both front & back-end development, including React JS.
- Hand on experience with Pega, a low-code/no-code application. Hands on experience with cloud-native applications, including managing and building cloud-based solutions, designing APIs, and managing data flows.
- Strong leadership skills to lead technical teams, guide development processes, and manage vendor relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in documenting and communicating technical solutions using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket/Git.
